Grants driving jobs and economic diversification in the Pilbara
Two Indigenous organisations in the Pilbara will use Regional Economic Development (RED) Grants to create more accommodation and support job creation in their communities.
Gumala Investments Pty Ltd in the Shire of Ashburton received $250,000 in the latest WA Government RED grant round to expand the Karijini Eco Retreat, increasing accommodation capacity and supporting sustainable tourism growth within Karijini National Park.

And the Tjamu Tjamu Aboriginal Corporation in the Shire of East Pilbara will establish a civil contracting social enterprise in Kiwirrkurra, supporting job creation and skills development in a remote Aboriginal community.
