Grants available to support Youth Week
Community groups across Western Australia have been invited to apply for a share of $125,000 in grant funding to help make Youth Week WA 2026 a success.
Youth Week is the largest annual celebration of young people aged 10 to 25 in WA and will take place from April 10-16 next year.
The Youth Week WA 2026 celebrations will be launched in the South West town of Capel.
Pop-up markets
The Shire of Capel has demonstrated a strong commitment to empowering the voices of young people, including through groups such as the Capel Youth Advisory Collective and the Dalyellup Youth Advisory Collective.
Grants of up to $1,500 are available for eligible organisations to deliver small-scale events for young people in Western Australia such as workshops, pop-up markets and talks.
Grants of up to $3,000 are available for collaborative, community-wide events such as networking events, community gatherings or a program of small-scale events in Western Australia.
For the first time, grants of up to $10,000 are also available to support the delivery of medium-scale events such as conferences, forums, exhibitions, sporting tournaments and festivals.

“Youth Week WA 2025 saw 70 free and accessible events held across the State, from Albany in the Great Southern to Wunaamin Miliwundi Ranges in the Kimberley,” Youth Minister Hannah Beazley said.
Applications for Youth Week WA grants open today and close on Wednesday, 8 October.
