Children’s Day 2026 bags flying off the shelves
The countdown to SNAIC’s Children’s Day 2026 has kicked off with a pop-up poster exhibition at the Koorie Heritage Trust on Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung Country in Naarm/Melbourne.
And to celebrate Children’s Day on August 4, special activity bags are now avaiable from SNAIC.

Inspired by the 2026 theme, Living Our Truth, the Children’s Day 2026 Bag is filled with engaging activities and creative resources that invite children to learn, explore, create and play, celebrating their voices, stories, identities and cultural strengths.
The drawstring Children’s Day Bag is in a vibrant navy colour and includes:
- Children’s Day 2026 Activity Book,
- Children’s Day 2026 Book – The Moon Story,
- Children’s Day 2026 Stickers,
- and pop-it silicone bracelets, bag tag, boomerang key ring, scratch cards and paint set and brush.
Designed for schools, early learning services, organisations, families and community celebrations, the Children’s Day Bag supports a nationwide celebration that recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children growing up safe, strong, connected to culture and proud of who they are.
