Blak jobs Expo regos now open
The Northern Territory Blak Jobs Expo has opened for registrations to its event next month with the NT Indigenous Business Network aiming to connect young Aboriginal jobseekers with potential employers.
The events at the Territory Netball Stadium in Darwin on March 12 and in Alice Springs at the Convention Centre on April 30 are aimed at Year 10-12 students actively looking for career options.
NTIBN’s mission is to build a vibrant, innovative Aboriginal business sector to drive the Northern Territory economic growth,” the organisation said.

The Blak Jobs Expo aims to:
- create meaningful career opportunities for young Indigenous Territorians
- empower our youth to think about the future
- connect young people directly to deadly and safe employers
- provide job guarantees for Year 12 school leavers
- provide safe employers, a platform to access the brightest, Blakest and best Territory workforce
“By building sustainable pathways, we strengthen the capacity and resilience of Aboriginal led businesses,” the Indigenous Business Network said.
“We achieve this by facilitating meaningful connections between Aboriginal jobseekers and employers, supporting businesses to grow and diversify, and providing opportunities for collaboration, skills development and workforce participation.”
