Trade fairs success in Adelaide and Melbourne

February 22, 2026

Supply Nation has kicked off 2026 with two trade fairs as 80 Indigenous exhibitors showcased their businesses in Adelaide and Melbourne.

Across a diverse range of sectors including personnel and training services, wellness, food and beverages, construction services, technology, printing services, spring water, hundreds of attendees had the opportunity to engage and discuss a growing business sector.

Representatives of government departments, corporate entries, not-for-profit, universities seeking to procure goods and services from verified Indigenous businesses were also active at both venues.

In both Adelaide and Melbourne representatives of NIAA were present to assist with information and any questions from exhibitors and attendees related to supporting the sector. Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) was also present.

“As a certified Supply Nation supplier, stepping in to the Trade Fair space and engaging with companies and departments genuinely interested in contracting my unique skills and expertise was a powerful opportunity,” Bianca Stawiarski, of SA-based business Warida Wholistic Wellness, said.

“It wasn’t just exposure; it was connection and the chance to showcase the strength, integrity, and innovation that First Nations-led business brings to every table.”

The Adelaide fair was also supported by local First Nations Entrepreneurs Hub – The Circle, Reconciliation SA and In Melbourne by Kinaway.

Melbourne also hosted a “business breakfast” as Minister for Indigenous Australians Malarndirri McCarthy called in to meet and chat with businesses and attendees.
