Women entrepreneurs
“We are extremely excited to launch this year’s catalogue with a fantastic selection of unique products from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses around the country,” CEO Kate Russell said.
“It’s also very pleasing to see that of the businesses listed approximately two-thirds are owned or led by women entrepreneurs. Indigenous women are driving innovation and creating real change across communities throughout Australia.”

Supply Nation’s recently released report The Sleeping Giant Rises found that for every dollar of revenue produced by Indigenous-owned businesses, $3.66 of positive economic and social value was generated into the Australian economy.
“When you purchase from businesses listed in our catalogue you can be assured that you are purchasing high-quality, unique and authentic Indigenous products with real connection to Country and Culture. But more than that, you are contributing to positive change and greater self-determination for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples,” Ms Russell said.

“Indigenous-owned businesses are operating across all sectors of the economy, and this is just a small sample of the excellence on show. We hope all Australians will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Indigenous Culture and the positive contributions being made by Indigenous businesses by engaging with our catalogue and sharing with friends and family.”
