Kia gifts Broncos logo space to Deadly Choices
Korean car giant Kia gave up their main sponsor logo position on the front of the Brisbane Broncos jersey at the weekend to allow the Deadly Choices logo to take centre stage for the NRL’s Indigenous round.
Deadly Choices is run by the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health and has worked with the Broncos for the past 14 years.
The program empowers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to make healthy choices and complete an annual health check.

In the past three-years, almost five thousand First Nations people have completed a 715 health check, which helps prevent chronic disease from becoming a reality.
Kia Australia’s Jol Hurst said they were proud to support a program which makes a real difference.

“I would like to congratulate the Brisbane Broncos and our partners in Deadly Choices for the amazing work they do through their 715 health checks,” Hurst said.
The unique way that they encourage those health checks throughout the community is so vitally important and it’s something that we are very proud to be a part of.”
Quandamooka Artist, Delvene Cockatoo-Collins, designed the jersey for the second consecutive year.
This year’s jersey called ‘Ancestor’s Armour: Version 2’ was an extension of last season’s jersey which was created in collaboration with the Club’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players.
