Addo-Carr signs new deal at Parramatta
By JASPER BRUCE
Parramatta Eels have signed Indigenous winger Josh Addo-Carr to a new one-year deal only days after releasing their other superstar winger Zac Lomax.
Addo-Carr found strong form in his first season at the improving Eels, passing 150 NRL tries and reaching 200 games.

The 30-year-old’s form earned him selection in all three Tests on the Kangaroos’ end-of-year Ashes tour.
Addo-Carr will now remain with Parramatta until the end of the 2027 season, by which time he will be 32.
“I absolutely love this club,” Addo-Carr said in a statement.
“Rylesy (head coach Jason Ryles) and the coaching staff have helped me become the player I always wanted to be, both on and off the field.
“I’m grateful for their belief in me and I’m excited for what we’re building together.”

The news comes less than a week after the Eels granted Lomax a release just one year into a four-year deal, with the 26-year-old heavily linked to breakaway rugby union competition R360.
Bailey Simonsson and Jordan Samrani are leading options for the vacancy on the wing in Ryles’s second season as coach.
