
A Place for Culture workshops in Victoria
SNAICC – National Voice for our Children is inviting early childhood education and care educators, leaders and service providers who work in non-Aboriginal services to enrol in the upcoming ‘A Place for Culture’ in-person workshops taking place in Naarm/Melbourne and Djilang/Geelong next month.
A Place for Culture is fully funded and free for participants.
Places are strictly limited and demand is expected to be high for the Victoria-based workshops. We strongly encourage you to enrol as soon as possible to secure your place and complete the online learning component before attending the in-person workshop.

Location: Wathaurong Booln Booln Cultural Centre, Grovedale
A Place for Culture is a fully funded, free professional learning and development opportunity for educators and leaders in non-Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander services who want to build culturally responsive and inclusive early learning environments for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.
Through A Place for Culture, participants build the knowledge, confidence and practical strategies to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children to strengthen cultural identity in the ECEC service.
The opportunity is delivered using a blended model approach that includes a self-paced online learning component to be completed prior to an in-person workshop. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of participation.
Important Information
Places are strictly limited and expected to fill quickly. While the workshop is free for participants, participants are responsible for any travel or personal expenses.
Participants complete an online learning component prior to attending the in-person workshop. Attendance for the full in-person workshop is required.
