The extension builds on work already undertaken by both organisations, which the club describes as grounded in shared values of community, empowerment and improved health outcomes. Club officials emphasised that the partnership is designed to reach Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across the region, using the club’s platform to amplify preventative health messages. The renewal follows a period of joint community initiatives undertaken by the Titans and Deadly Choices, reflecting an approach that ties cultural recognition with practical engagement in health services.
Deadly Choices has been described by the club as a valued long-term partner. The continued collaboration recognises the outcomes achieved to date and the capacity of the two organisations to maintain momentum on initiatives that promote proactive health actions. The emphasis on consistency and reach—both through community work and visible on-field symbolism—underpins the strategy for the next two seasons.
Community health focus and initiatives
The partnership continues to centre on the promotion of the 715 Health Check shirts, an initiative encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to complete a 715 Health Check and take proactive steps towards better health. According to the Titans, Deadly Choices has worked closely with the club on these community initiatives, using recognisable campaign elements to drive engagement and normalise preventive care.
“This partnership is about more than what you see on a jersey, it’s about using the platform of our club to help drive positive health outcomes and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across our region,” Titans CEO Steve Mitchell said.
The renewed agreement also incorporates a public-facing component: the Deadly Choices logo will feature on the Titans’ 2026 Indigenous Round jersey.
