Arts & language funding now available

The ILA Program supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians to express, conserve and maintain their cultures through Indigenous languages and arts activities.

Grants are now available for organisations though the Federal government funded program that create promote and celebrate Indigenous community-based arts activities.

Funding is also available to projects that conserve, revitalise and sustain Indigenous languages.

Funding, from $20,000 to $200,000 is available for projects commencing after July 1, 2026. Project duration can range from 12 months up to 36 months depending on the category of funding sought.

Applications close on March 16 (11.30pm ACT time).
