Origin Digital Scholarship at Curtin now available

Applications are now open for the Origin Digital Indigenous Scholarship at Curtin University for a student to study digital solutions.

The scholarship of $10,000 has been established to encourage and support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students undertaking a Bachelor’s degree who have a strong passion to participate in developing, creating, promoting and implementing innovative solutions in the digital world.

“Curtin played a huge role in shaping my career, so it’s special to be able to give back,” Origin Digital Technical Director Adam Fitzgerald said.

“I’m proud that our organisation is so hands-on in supporting this scholarship – it’s about creating real opportunities and backing the next wave of emerging talent.”

The Scholarship will provide the following support for up to a maximum of one year:

  • A total value of up to $10,000 paid as a cash stipend of $5,000 per semester.
  • Possible paid vacation work with the sponsor.

The student has to be enrolled in one of a number of Bachelor degree courses, outlined in Curtin University’s scholarship description 2026 – Semester 1 – Origin Digital Indigenous Scholarship

Enrolment Requirements at Curtin

Recipients must meet all of the following:

  • Maintain enrolment of at least 75 credits each semester at Curtin University
  • Maintain a course weighted average (CWA) of at least 50 each semester
  • Must pass all units attempted each study period.
  • Not apply for/receive any other scholarships from the same funding source and/or for the same purpose.
