New chief for leading arts organisation
Agency Projects has announced the appointment of respected Nhanda and Nyoongar arts leader, cultural strategist and curator Glenn Iseger-Pilkington as its new Chief Executive Officer.
With more than 20 years of experience across visual arts, cultural leadership, community engagement and national advocacy, Glenn brings a rare combination of cultural authority, strategic insight and sector-wide trust to the role.
His career spans senior positions at Fremantle Arts Centre, the Western Australian Museum, the Art Gallery of Western Australia, the South Australian Museum, national First Nations visual arts initiatives and major government cultural projects in Western Australia.
Significant appointment
Glenn’s appointment is widely welcomed by the First Nations arts and cultural sector, with leaders across the country recognising its significance.
“Glenn is an exceptional First Nations leader whose cultural knowledge, values, and national experience align directly with Agency’s purpose. His appointment marks an exciting new chapter for Agency and we are very proud to welcome him as CEO.” Agency Chair Lauren Ganley said.
The timing is a significant threshold in the organisation’s leadership, affirming Agency’s long term commitment to First Nations governance, cultural integrity and ethical growth.

Glenn’s appointment is a national milestone and a clear recognition of the depth and strength of First Nations leadership within the arts, cultural and creative industries.
“I am honoured to join Agency Projects at a moment when First Nations cultural leadership, collaboration and self determination are at the centre of its mission,” Mr Iseger-Pilkington said.
“I look forward to working with the Board, staff, Elders and partners to strengthen agency, visibility and opportunity for our artists, communities and future generations.”

Mr Iseger-Pilkington is a Nhanda Yamatji and Nyoongar man, with Dutch and Scottish ancestry.
