Still time to attend SNAICC’25

September 12, 2025

There are less than 150 spots available to attend SNAICC ‘25 in Brisbane next month.

SNAICC’25 is a biennial three-day gathering to celebrate culture, identity and the power of community-led solutions, and while also shaping priorities for the future.

It is an unmatched opportunity to engage with proven community-led solutions, influence national policy and strengthen culturally safe approaches to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.

CEO Catherine Liddle wrote recently in Croakey Health Media that it was critical to prioritise the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, now and into the future.

Narelda Jacobs is a high-profile Whadjuk Noongar journalist and presenter. You’ll find her on Channel 10, NITV and SBS, the ABC and podcast airwaves.

“It means funding early intervention, prevention and healing – not just response and removal,” Ms Liddle said.

Ms Liddle, an Arrernte/Luritja woman from Central Australia, paid tribute to the work of Aboriginal community-controlled organisations (ACCOs) in “quietly and consistently leading the way in transforming outcomes for our children and families”.

“Over three days, SNAICC’25 will showcase the best in Aboriginal-led practice, celebrate our culture, and focus on reform not in theory but in action,” she said.

Dr Katrina Wruck is a proud Mabuyag woman from the Panay Nation of the Western Torres Strait Islands.

“Delegates will hear from leaders across sectors, including Commissioner Hunter, youth voices, and policy experts.
